Toyota Kirloskar Motor is teaming up with Animation Express for the upcoming Anime India 2026 series of events. As the anime fan base in India continues to grow, particularly among the younger generation, Anime India provides Toyota with the perfect platform to engage with anime enthusiasts and offer them a fun and interactive brand experience in more than one city.
Anime India event in Delhi:
The inaugural event in this association between Toyota and Anime India would be Anime India Delhi. This would be held at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, from 6-7 June 2026. This event is set to feature a J-pop concert by Yurika and a special appearance by Inoue Kazuhiko, a popular Japanese voice actor best known for voicing Kakashi in Naruto.
Three vehicles from Toyota would be displayed at this event – the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Toyota Glanza, and Urban Cruiser Taisor. Some of the activities that visitors can participate in would include a spin-the-wheel contest, a stamp rally, and a quiz competition.
Anime-themed exhibits of the Toyota vehicles:
On top of that, the three Toyota vehicles available at the event will come with special wrappers based on the internationally acclaimed anime franchise Attack on Titan. The company expects the theme-based displays to make a stronger connection with the anime enthusiasts and the young audiences.

Anime India has been identified as one of the premier ticketed anime conventions in the country and celebrates licensed anime, manga, gaming, and Japanese popular culture. With this association, Toyota seeks to find new ways of interacting with emerging communities of customers.
