The company has launched the next-generation hatchback Tiago in Petrol, iCNG, and Electric variants. Pricing for the petrol variant starts at Rs 4.69 lakh whereas, for the Tiago.ev, it stands at Rs 6.99 lakh. The Electric Tiago is also offered in Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option where it is available for Rs 4.69 lakh plus battery cost at Rs 2.6 per km.
Developed on 10 years of legacy and success, the Next Gen Tiago gets a complete redesign and comes loaded with new styling, an upscale interior and advanced technologies.
Fitted with technology and enhanced safety:
The Next Gen Tiago comes with segment firsts like 360-degree surround-view camera and blind view monitor. There is a 26.03 cm HD touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, wireless phone charger, connectivity tech, and advanced digital display too.
Safety measures have also been enhanced with six airbags, ESP, traction control, auto headlamps, and Safety Dome structure by Tata Motors. As per the claims made by the company, the vehicle has been designed to withstand extreme conditions during collisions and also make driving easier and safer on an everyday basis.

While Tiago.ev is still targeting budget-conscious consumers who want to make a foray into the world of electric cars, it has added faster charging capability to its list. With a new feature of being able to gain 100 kilometres of range in as little as 18 minutes of time, it has managed to add to the excitement of owning an electric car. Tata Motors has launched a first-of-its-kind Lifetime High Voltage (HV) Battery Warranty in the automobile industry.
