Nagarro-Addverb bets in next -generation automation.

Industrywiz Daily updates

A collaboration between Nagarro and Addverb Technologies is in the works for developing robotic automation systems. Their strategic collaboration will see the integration of software, robotics, and digital twins powered by artificial intelligence for revolutionizing the processes of industrial warehouses across the world.

The next step in smart automation:

Nagarro and Addverb Technologies have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for developing sophisticated robotics technology and digital twin models for their customers across the world.

The basic concept involved in this collaboration is that software intelligence and robotics can be brought together for improving performance, learning processes, and minimizing efforts in complex industrial scenarios.

The firms will also co-develop intellectual properties, transfer knowledge, and consider the possibility of establishing robotics experience centers and innovation zones.

Creating integrated systems, not separate solutions:

Whereas Nagarro will be responsible for software development, integration, and platforms, Addverb Technologies will manage robotics engineering, automation, and lifetime maintenance.

The companies together seek to address one key challenge the industry has long faced – automation as a solution in silo. Rather than relying on separate machines and tools, they wish to provide a solution that enables integrated systems to operate seamlessly throughout the warehousing and manufacturing processes.

Ganesh Sahai, CTO of Nagarro, noted: “Automation discussions usually remain at a point where they address only individual use cases. Through this collaboration, the dots will be connected between the software and robots, delivering end-to-end solutions that directly lead to faster execution, higher utilization, and more predictable results.”

Striving towards global presence in their supply chain:

The collaboration will also be aimed at establishing a global presence by developing a go-to-market strategy together as well as mutual referrals. The goal will be to create more presence in the realms of warehousing, manufacturing, and supply chain.

Sangeet Kumar, the founder and CEO of Addverb said: “We strongly believe that the future of automation will belong to an ecosystem which is based on the seamless integration between software and robotics. We, at Addverb, are consciously trying to take our business model further to not just provide the best hardware but also intelligent solutions for the future generations. Our collaboration with Nagarro will help us achieve this goal.”

This shows how the future belongs to AI-enabled engineering and the convergence between digital intelligence and physical automation.
