Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives have been successful by BYD India Private Ltd in Tamil Nadu through education, healthcare, and environmental sustainability with the support of the FEEED NGO. Initiatives undertaken by BYD include School Infrastructure Development Project for Government Panchayat Union Primary School in Keevalur Village, enhancement of healthcare facilities in Uthiramerur Government Hospital, and plantation drive.
Education initiative aims to develop infrastructures for education as well as learning tools for about 200 students. Healthcare project will help to provide patients with modern equipment and improve their health condition. Plantation drive will be beneficial for environmental sustainability and show BYD’s social responsibility and willingness to make changes for a healthy future.
Improving healthcare and sustainability :

Developing community impact over the long term:
The School Infrastructure Development Project is one of the corporate social responsibility projects initiated by BYD India that seeks to improve education, healthcare, and infrastructure facilities for the community. This project reflects the commitment of BYD towards sustainability through technology for community development. So far, BYD has sold over 16.5 million New Energy Vehicles, contributing to reducing carbon dioxide emissions.
