Festo marked 40 years of doing business in India with the launch of its new Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Bengaluru, which is a major step towards Industry 4.0, automation, and smart manufacturing. This latest facility, spread over 71,000 square feet in the vicinity of Electronics City, is expected to house 600 employees.
This new GCC will serve as an important hub for the company for advanced engineering, digital solutions, software development, data analytics, and process excellence, which will boost the company’s global operations. The new GCC in Bengaluru will also upgrade the skill sets of existing employees and support activities in global process optimization and innovation.
