Max Healthcare and The Learning Lab collaborate to promote healthcare research and capacity building

Max Healthcare on Tuesday stated that it has collaborated with a UK-based company named The Learning Lab for the development of innovative healthcare capacity-building initiatives and for promoting joint research endeavors. The two have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the said collaboration, Max Healthcare said in a statement.

The Learning Lab is a clinically driven spin-out of Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, with a focus on revolutionizing education in healthcare with innovative learning, according to the statement. As part of the collaboration, both parties said they would work together to develop training content relevant to healthcare professionals practicing in tertiary and specialty care environments.

The programs are intended to enhance medical skills, advance patient outcomes, and promote a sustainable training capacity within local settings, it added. “By putting together the frontline clinical experiences at Max Healthcare and the academic and educative expertise at The Learning Lab, we aim to deliver practical, evidence-based learning empowering nursing teams and enhancing multidisciplinary care in cancer.,” said Sandeep Budhiraja, Medical Director at Max Healthcare Group.

It also lays the foundation for future collaborative research and advanced surgical training, including in robotics, he added. Commenting further on the partnership, The Learning Lab Chief Executive Officer Bhaveet Radia pointed to the “inspiring vision and hugely impressive operational model” of Max Healthcare.

The partnership brings together Max Healthcare’s vast clinical expertise and pan-India hospital network with The Learning Lab’s proven capability in designing scalable, high-impact healthcare education programs firmly founded on the best practices of the NHS, it added.
