Lenovo launches AI-ready storage and virtualisation solutions

Industrywiz Daily updates

“The past one week has been satisfying, as I had the pleasure of meeting representatives from new carriers that hope to spread their wings in the Indian airspace Shankh Air, Al Hind Air, and FlyExpress. However, Shankh Air already possesses the NOC from the Ministry, while Al Hind Air and FlyExpress have LeanLenovo has launched a broad range of data storage, virtualization solutions, and data management capabilities to improve IT infrastructure for enterprise class applications and AI analytical solutions. The newly launched product range includes Lenovo ThinkSystem solutions, ThinkAgile solutions for building a contemporary IT foundation for businesses to unleash AI innovations by managing their data.

The Impetus for Modern Data Infrastructure Ready for AI

A survey conducted by Gartner suggests that 63 per cent of organisations either lagged in, or had unclear, data management concerning AI. A distinctive set of customer data represents a critical factor for securing a distinct competitive position, and 80 per cent of the last five-year stored data came in the form of hard drive systems, typically not optimised for AI use, as indicated by IDC. Moreover, changing virtualisation and containerization needs of organisations underline the need for emerging data management in the enterprise space to cater to next-generation applications.

Lenovo’s vision for enterprise AI and virtualisation

According to Sumir Bhatia, President, Asia Pacific, ISG, Lenovo, “With rapid shifts in virtualisation and the growing demand for AI-ready data, many organisations are looking for open, modern infrastructure that can support both. Lenovo’s new storage solutions and services provide that foundation by improving performance, security, and operational simplicity. These offerings help customers prepare their data, streamline deployment, and extract more value from their existing environments as they advance their AI strategy.”

Enabling AI adoption in India

“Enterprises in India are moving from experimentation to scaled AI adoption, but many are still constrained by legacy data environments. With our new storage and virtualisation solutions, we’re helping customers eliminate these bottlenecks and build a more secure, efficient, and flexible foundation for AI outcomes. Our priority is simple – give customers the agility to modernise at their pace and turn their data into real business impact,” said Amit Luthra, Managing Director – India, Lenovo ISG.
