Kalpataru Projects International’s shares zoomed more than 2% to a higher intraday price of ₹1,227.20 on Thursday, January 1, due to the company’s receipt of orders worth ₹719 crores. Although, the stock’s pace slowed, and it dropped more than 1% to an intraday low of ₹1,186 per share.
The EPC and civil construction company, along with their joint venture, has acquired a contract for an elevated metro rail project situated in Thane, the state of Maharashtra. Commenting on the project, MD and CEO Manish Mohnot said, “We are delighted with the new order win in our Urban Infrastructure business. The elevated metro rail order in Thane has strengthened our presence in the growing urban transportation EPC business, reinforcing our confidence in the growth potential of our Urban Infra business in India.”
However, according to Mohnot, the fact that the company’s strong ordering and broad and strong execution base the company to attain its growth plans in the next few quarters.

At 12:30 pm, shares of the company were trading at Rs1,189.70 on National Stock Exchange, down 1.06% from its previous close. The stock is down by over 9% on a YoY basis. The market capitalization of the company is at ₹20,315.10 crores. The stock has touched its 52-week high of ₹1,340 on NSE on January 1, 2025, and has touched its 52-week low of ₹786.30 on April 7, 2025.

Earnings of Kalpataru Projects:
Kalpataru Projects International had earlier reported an increase of 89% in its consolidated profit on a year-over-year (YoY) basis for the September 2025-ending period at ₹237 crore. The company registered an increase of 32% in the revenue from operations at ₹6,529 crore in the current quarter. The company’s earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) of ₹561 crore experienced an increase of 29% YoY. The EBITDA margin of 8.6% was also registered.
