INOX Air Products signs MoU for new air unit in Odisha

A significant milestone was reached by INOX Air Products during the Odisha Investors’ Meet in Kolkata with the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Tata Steel. This MoU will enable them to set up a 2×1300 TPD air separation plant in Tata Steel’s Meramandali plant at Odisha.

Top officials express commitment to investment:

The MoU got shaped in the presence of senior government representatives, including the Odisha State’s Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Industry Minister Sampad Char, alongside other significant personalities such as Siddharth Jain. The Industrial Promotion & Investment Corporation of Odisha (IPICOL) will also serve as the nodal agency for this purpose.

Strategic partnership:

This new air separation plant has been intended to serve some large industrial customers, mainly Tata Steel, with production in essential gases used in the atmosphere, which would develop the industrial infrastructure in the region. This particular project marks a new tie-up arrangement for both INOX AP and Tata Steel, reflecting a development in the industrious region of Odisha.
