A tractor manufacturing company Sonalika has created history by creating the world’s largest writing of a Hindi word “दम” on a farm at Sikandrabad in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. This inscription has been made on an area of 34,000 square feet, which is 125 feet tall and 272 feet wide. The company used two tractors of their Gold Series to create the writing in the farm soil.
Sonalika claimed that this activity takes its cue from farmers who come forward in every growing season with confidence and hopefulness. This has been converted into an agricultural show of success by the company.
Gold Series tractors drive inscription project:
The Gold DI 745 III and Gold DI 55 III tractors were used by Sonalika to make the inscription. The two tractors had been working with 10-foot rotavators. The Gold Series is the latest tractor range that has been manufactured by the company through its integrated manufacturing plant based in Hoshiarpur, Punjab. It uses robotics and automation for manufacture.
The tractors are powered by a 3,532cc E3.5 engine. This is the largest three-cylinder engine according to Sonalika. Other specifications are the multi-speed driveline with 16 forward and 4 reverse gears or 12 forward and 3 reverse gears and Jet Line hand throttle.
Highlights of the company:
According to Raman Mittal, Joint Managing Director of International Tractors Ltd, “The word ‘दम’ embodies the inspiring spirit of all those farmers who, from the very beginning of every new season, have the courage to achieve things which were once thought to be impossible. Over the past thirty years of our existence, the same spirit has inspired us to dream and push the limits to greater heights each day. Today, it gives us immense pride to have scaled new heights, and to have done something which has earned its way into the records of the world. What gives me even greater pride is the fact that we achieved the feat on the very land where our mission lives.”
