The Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd (GIPCL) has appointed Shri Jitendra Singh Ranawat as the Head of Management of the company’s Renewable Energy Business and Factory Manager of the company’s renewable energy sites. This appointment is effective March 18, 2026. This is a significant move in the company’s quest to grow and expand in the field of renewable energy.

It has been in the field of providing solar and wind power. Currently, the company has over 937 MW of installed solar capacity and 112.4 MW of wind power. In addition, the company is in the process of developing a huge 2375 MW Hybrid Renewable Energy Park in Khavda, Gujarat. This includes commissioned capacities such as a 600 MW solar project.
