Bajel Projects Ltd has been awarded an ultra mega order by Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Ltd (MSETCL) in the Power Transmission sector, which is the biggest single acquisition in this sector. Bajel Projects has been awarded the order to build a 400/220 kV Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS) Substation at Saswad, Pune.
Comprehensive EPC Responsibility:
Bajel Projects will be responsible for designing, supplying, building, testing, and commissioning the Substation and transmission lines. In addition, they will also be responsible for all civil work, completion of necessary testing, and start-up.
The project will involve building a greenfield Substation with 2 X 500 MVA and 1 X 125 MVAr Bus Reactors at 400 kV, which will be used to meet the power requirement in Maharashtra in the future. In addition, to integrate with the existing grid, additional bays will be created in three other Substations.
The project will also involve building new transmission lines of 400 kV and 200 kV with LILO configuration, which will enhance connectivity and power evacuation in Pune.
