Group Legrand India has inaugurated a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Nashik, spread over more than 30,000 square meters, making it the largest factory in India and one of the largest in the world. This plant underlines the strategic role of Legrand in India as a manufacturing and export hub. Particularly for products such as busbar trunking systems, distribution boards, cable trays, and industrial plugs, with a key focus on the rapidly growing data centre market.
Commitment to sustainability:
It has plans for both local and foreign markets and has started exporting some of its range to external markets, with a target to increase exports to other countries in the future. This manufacturing unit is backed by sustainability plans, which include IGBC green building rating and a 1 MW solar power solution, in addition to zero liquid discharge plans. Legrand is planning to use latest technology to produce quality products and to promote ecological growth.
